Creative Writing

Throughout the year, we will be hosting a range of online writing sessions for students in secondary school and at 6th form.

We run online courses tailored to 11+ and entrance exams, as well as for GCSE students to help them revise writing techniques that examiners are looking out for.

JM Tutoring hold online workshops in order to help students develop their understanding of key texts ready for GCSE and A level English exams.

These include online revision sessions on Shakespeare, 19th Century novels, and poetry.

Each lesson is geared towards all exam boards, with break downs of different types of questions for all students.

English Language Revision

Many students struggle to revise for the English Language GCSE because they’re not sure what they need to do during revision. In our online English Language GCSE workshops, we help with that.

Each workshop is different: some we will have a look at past papers and example answers that students themselves have written in order to understand what examiners are looking for; others will look at entirely new writing as ‘walking talking mocks’.

Coming soon for summer 2022...

During the summer of 2022, we aim to run a range of online workshops tailored for 11+ and entrance examinations.

These workshops will run online during the day and will cater for the different versions of the 11+ there are across the country, including CEM and GL.

Places will be on a first come, first served basis.
